The purpose and design of this page has been to bring to your fingertips highly useful and relevant counseling-related resources – e.g., descriptions and discussions of problem areas typically encountered by students, tips for overcoming some of these difficulties, and references to other related internet resources.  You will find that much of the information that follows can be most helpful to you at once – but, more than that, it will give you a good glimpse of the kind of issues daily addressed at the University Counseling Center.  But do keep in mind that direct, face-to-face counseling by the professionally trained staff of the UCC cannot be substituted by this website tool. Whatever the nature of the problem(s) you may be struggling with, it is our recommendation and hope that you will further inquire into or receive formal counseling by our staff professionals.

The following menu of help topics has been provided for you by the University Counseling Center.  A more exhaustive listing of counseling issues can be accessed through the World Wide Web Resources via the Virtual Pamphlet.
